Permanent /home space
Your home directory is allocated a fixed amount of space.
To determine your disk quota execute the command:
/usr/bsd/quota -v
Temporary space
users are encouraged to create directories in /var/tmp
to place large files as well as temporary files (scratch).
Please follow the policies concerning files and directories
in /var/tmp.
